The research areas of four faculty members in the department of chemistry relate to materials and polymer science. Research in the materials and polymer division spans a wide range of areas, ranging from nanomaterials, catalysts, functional polymer, 2D materials, organic semiconductors, soft electronic materials to their advanced applications. The interdisciplinary studies are not limited to developing and investigating new materials, but also focus on practical applications based on chemical, physical, electrical, and mechanical perspectives.
UNIST 화학과에서 4명의 교수님이 재료/고분자 화학과 관련된 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 재료/고분자 분과에서는 나노 재료, 촉매, 기능성 고분자, 2차원 재료, 유기 반도체, 연성 전자재료를 중심으로 하여 다양한 연구를 수행하고 있을 뿐만 아니라 이의 응용 기술 등 다양한 연구 주제로 그 영역을 넓혀가고 있습니다. 또한 새로운 소재의 기초적 개발 및 분석에 국한되지 않고 화학적, 물리적, 전기적, 기계적 관점 기반의 학제간 연구를 통한 다양한 실용화 기술 연구 또한 활발하게 진행되고 있습니다.
